Tile Quest

Tile Quest is a simple Tile Matching Game, in which you collect Cash and increase your Highscore in order to unlock new areas on the planet in your Main Menu. Each area has a new, unique Ore Tile and 3d Background to change up the gameplay.

Main Menu Controls

you can rotate the globe around by holding down your Left Mouse button and moving your mouse around. 

You can select any area you want to play on by quickly clicking on it.

If you have unlocked your selected area you can start a Game right away, if not you have to unlock it first.

Unlocking an area costs Cash. You can see how much Cash you have in the top left corner of your screen and you can see the Unlock Cost of the area right below the Lock Icon.

If you have collected enough Cash click on the lock icon and the area will unlocked itself!

If you want to change your settings or quit the game you cando so at any point, both in the Main Menu as well as In Game, by clicking on the 3 white dots in the top right corner of the screen.

Game Controls

Once you have started a Game you will be presented with a Grid full of  different Tiles. If you click on a TIle it will destroy itself and all neighbouring Tiles of the same type.

Every time you click on a Tile however, you will use up one of your moves. If you run out of moves the game will end.

When a tile gets destroyed it will typically give you both XP as well as Score, but there are a few exceptions:

Bomb Tiles

Bomb Tiles wont give you any XP or Score but will instead destroy other Tiles in a Radius around them

More Moves Tiles

These rainbow coloured Tiles will grant you more moves, so you can keep on playing

Cash Tiles

Cash Tiles will give you Cash instead of XP or Score. You can use Cash to unlock new areas.

Rock Tiles

Rock Tiles will grant you nothing when they are destroyed, but you still have to remove them to make space on the Grid

Tipp: Both the "More Moves Tile" as well as the "Cash Tile" can also be destroyed by removing all of its neighbouring tiles in one Move.

Score

Your current Score shows you how far you have come in a specific area.

You can look up your Highscore in a specific area, by clicking on it in the Main Menu.

XP

XP is vital to keep the game going and can be optained from destroying tiles. 

At the start of the game you will only have 10 moves, which will run out quickly. 

To ensure that you dont lose the game however you can fill up your XP bar.

Once your XP bar is full it will destroy all of the tiles on the grid and grant you 10 more moves
